Halloween Budget Costume.

It's that time of year again.... the time where it is totally appropriate to go out in your corset and underpants as long as you have Cat Ears or a Witches Hat on!!
**Please note we never, under any circumstance got to a fancy dress party in just our undies. We do however know many girls that do!!**

We LOVE  a good fancy dress party, but sometimes they can be expensive to buy. Also it's so annoying when you turn up at the party and there are 17 witches all wearing the same dress!! We always try to make our own costumes (with a little help and guidance from J's mum) and we thought we would share some of our cheapest and easiest costumes with you.

It's fancy dress at it best, on a budget and you can guarentee that no one else will have the same costume as you!

Witch.

Stick to tradition. You'll need:

a broom - we got ours from Tesco for 97p, that's right you heard 97p!!! BARGAIN!!
a Witches Hat - again these can be bought for a really reasonable price at your local supermarket/ pound store. To give your hat an extra something special you can add decoration to it. Think cobwebs and spiders sewn on, or you could even "glam" it up with some stick-on jewels!
a LBD - everyone has one right?! - If you add layers to your LBD. like scarves and a long cardigan/ coat then it will "witch-up" your LBD without spoiling it!
Tights - don't forget a pair of cool tights, some cobweb ones or good old stripy ones!

Zombie.

The "Zombie" look is probably the easiest fancy dress outfit you could pick!

Basically use an old outfit and cut holes in it to get the perfect Zombie Look. I must point out you could even use an old fancy dress costume and go as a Zombie Cheerleader (or any other costume you have in your fancy dress box!)
The only thing you really have to buy is face paint and fake blood. Check out this video I found on YouTube with a great make up tutorial!!!

**REMEMBER: Back-combed hair is best!**

Cat.

The cheapest look for halloween and a great starter for a Fancy Dress novice. All you need is a black top some black trousers and of course some Cat Ears!
Don't forget to paint on a black and black whiskers!

Vampire.

My personal favoourite!!
Make your skin as pale as possible, add some black eyeshadow, black blusher on your cheeks and lashings of black lipstick and you are pretty much good to go!
The outfit can be as simple as you like - normally it's a good idea to go for a black dress and cape - if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a cape then a pashmina from Primark makes an ACE cape! Use a brooch to secure it together! Don't forget big jewellery and big hair!!!

Happy Halloween! Hope you all have a Ghoulishly Good Night!!!!

SGW xx
