Leap Year

So it's a Leap year Girlies and we all know what that means? Well if you hadn't already been informed, once every four years it's up to all the lovely Ladies out there to get down on one knee and make an honest man of their boyfriends.
So do you think you could take the plunge and propose to your special guy??
I know I'm currently a single girl so I don't have to worry right now, however I don't actually think I would be able to do it!
It feels like since time began through family tradition and the eye of the media, it's always been a job that belonged to the gentleman. However I guess this is all a little out-dated and old fashioned!
Things are so different these days, women are encouraged to be independent and focus on their futures, whether you're in a relationship or not.
So why not?
 I think if you're in love and want it to last a lifetime, then I say go for it ! If the love is returned then of course it doesn't matter who does the deed, it was always on the cards!
Maybe when I meet Mr. Right it will be the perfect option for me, who knows ! At least I have the next four years to try and find him !

Just a few things that a clearly wrong with Bruno's song lyrics, every girl loves a romantic gesture but offering to die for me is taking it a little bit too far. I mean, if I want to get with you then I want you to hang around not constantly roll in front of cars for me.
I must point out that this songs foolish lyrics was brought to my attention by a male friend who declared that they were, and I quote "the stupidest lyrics of all time."

Saying that I still love singing it, so they can't be all that bad.

Although, I would like to send a little message to Bruno. If a girl isn't giving you anything it means she'd just not that into you, get yourself Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo's Book "He's just not that into you." The same applies for boys.

      Wow! I've just started reading "He's just not that into you" by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo and it is pretty harsh on the single girl feelings.
It is a brilliant, brilliant book, but a bit of a slap in the face for us girls who have been hopelessly chasing love.
I've completed 2 chapters so far and already 3 men I've dated have come up!!!
Reading the book kind of leads me to ask the question "What am I doing wrong?" and "Where do I have to go to find the guy that will be into me?"
I guess only "Guru Greg" has the answers, so it's on to chapter 3 for more whincing because the truth really does hurt.
I'll let you know how I get on and just what I find out!
