Smooth out the lumps and bumps !!

Girls it doesn't matter whatever size you are, when it come to Christmas time every women has the same dilemma !! We all want to eat and enjoy ourselves, but also look fabulous in our Christmas dresses ! Lets be honest, there is no point saying 'oh I'm going to watch what I eat' because quite frankly that's not gonna happen ! It's Christmas, relax, enjoy yourself !!! When it comes to smoothing out those love handles invest in a good pair of 'pull you in' pants!
Every girl should purchase a pair, especially to help with the styles and cuts of the dresses out this season! Ok, so they may not be the most attractive looking panties, but they do the job!

They range in different 'strengths'! There and lots of mild 'pull you in's' that focus on flattening the stomach an then some that work well as scaffolding ! It's always a good idea to try them on with the dress that you are going to wear so you get the best fit!

I always go for black support underwear because I just think the colour is the most flattening but most stores also have ranges in white and nude !! Remember if your dress is white, always go for nude underwear! It won't show, where as white underwear will !

Stores with great ranges of support underwear are:

Marks and Spencer's
Debenhams
John Lewis

Try them out, give them a go and feel fabulous !! Xx

Present Buying - for boys.

I always find it quite difficult to buy for boys (I  have a younger brother and it ALWAYS takes me ages to decide on his present)
This year I've searched the shops for the perfect gifts for boys. I thought I'd share them with you lovelies, in case you struggle like I do.

tweed personal organiser 2013
Paperchase - £15.00

For the man that's always on the go! I got one of these for my dad last year because he always leaves notes on paper all round our house.

Berry Nep Crew Jumper
Burton  - £35
I've actually bought this jumper for my brother (so I hope he doesn't secretly follow our blog!) It's warm so a definite winner for the winter season!

Next - £12
This hat is a perfect choice for the boy who has everything. I've seen a few guys walking round town sporting this woolly number.

The Godfather Gun Mug
Men Kind - £10.99
A quirky mug is always a good gift, Men Kind have a whole range of Mugs, this one is my personal favourite!!

Pickmaster Plectrum
iwantoneofthose.com - £12.49
This is a Guitar Lovers dream!! With this plectrum maker he'll be able to pretend he's a rockstar making his own plectrums to give away after gigs.

The gift that keeps giving...

If you are in London over the next 9 days and are looking for presents for little ones, then head over to Covent Garden Piazza and buy a Christmas present from "The Toyshop." The Toyshop was created by the lovely people at Barclaycard and this Christmas they are hoping to raise £15,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

It really is the gift that keeps giving as all of the profits from the shop go straight to Great Ormond Street Hospital a wonderful place that is close to SGW hearts.

I went to "The Toyshop" yesterday and picked up presents for my little cousins. Knowing that not only will it make my cousins happy on Christmas Day but the present I bought will give money to a wonderful charity made it an even better purchase.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the best bit is with every purchase you get the chance to win a Mr B toy from the barclaycard advert!

If you are a Barclaycard customer then you get the chance to use their VIP lounge and grab a mulled wine while your presents are gift wrapped!

Please go down and support a wonderful idea and spread a little Christmas cheer!

Winter Wonderland!

Lost your Christmas Spirit? Never fear Winter Wonderland is here, and it's guaranteed to fill you with Christmassy Cheer!

Head on down to Hyde Park (although it's sometimes best to get off a tube stop before and walk down) for your fill of festive fun. The Wonderland is full of fabulous things to do and see there's stalls, live bands, food, drinks, rides.... I could go on and on!

The Wonderland is open daily from 10am- 10pm so you have plenty of time to take in all it has to offer!! (It can get quite crowded at weekends so if your free in the week, I'd absolutely suggest it!) It does get pretty cold after a while though so wrap up warm - because it doesn't matter how many mulled Ciders you drink it's just not going to work!!

The Wonderland is really beautiful and is full of really lovely stalls, although in my opinion it is better at night time, when all the lights are on not only is it Christmassy it's also so romantic!
Talking of romance, it's the perfect place for a first date. Don't worry if you don't have a date lined up though because it is also perfect for girly days out and family fun!

You can spend as little or as much as you like, I spent under £5 on my last visit and had an absolute blast! I got a drink from the bar and sat at the Star Inn listening to a band play, they were superb and the atmosphere was brilliant with everyone getting up to dance along.

There really is something for everyone at the Wonderland whether you want to show off your "Torvill and Dean" moves on the ice rink or be a dare devil on the zip wire!

Don't miss out on the fun! Get down to Hyde park before January 6th to enjoy the festive cheer!!

Love from London,

Artists for Humanity - The Store!!

Artists for Humanity is a great non-profit organization which helps young people in the creative arts!

Their Mission-

'Artists For Humanity, a vibrant, non-profit organization located in Boston's Fort Point Channel Art District, bridges economic, racial and social divisions by providing under-resourced urban youth with the keys to self- sufficiency through paid employment in art and design.'

Today I went to their store in Boston and it is full of amazing unique gifts, as well as cool tshirts and merchandise with the AFH logo on it.

I especially loved the 'ReVision Jewelry' handmade from magazines, project materials and paint chips. So quirky and unique, no one will have a pair to match!

Perfect presents for Christmas this year and you will be helping a great organization !!

The store can be found at One Faneuil Hall Square, Boston. Also check out their website at www.afhboston.org

Have fun shopping !!
