A new Bag!

I don't know about you, but I HATE carrying bags sometimes. Like literally hate it, my shoulder starts to ache and I can never find a bag that just sits nicely on my shoulder. Even my trusty over the shoulder bag has annoyed me in the summer heat.
What I need from a bag in the summer is something big enough to carry all my summer essentials (water, suncream, sunglasses) and comfy enough to have with me all day. So I have taken to the high street to find a cool backpack, I know a backpack isn't everyone's idea of cool but I think it's the perfect bag to take on a day out. Whether it's at the park or the beach! Here are my best finds!

I love this Aztec print bag, it's perfect for brightening up your outfit!

Bargain price and just as pretty!

I love the pink spots on this one, and the little pockets at the front are great extra compartments!

So this one looks a little bit like a Gillet, but I like it anyway!!!! The colours will carry you through to Autumn too!

I love this denim bag!!! My use of exclamation marks proves it!

The best bit about the backpack is they are useful whatever the weather!!!



The Search for the Perfect Pouch!!

I have NEVER in my life struggled with this topic !! Purchasing a new Bag!! It seems so unimagineable, that something that comes so naturally to me, is causing me such a drama!! I honestly own so many Handbags, I could open my own boutique.


However this isn't just any bag, later this year it will accompany me on a trip around America! Now we're not talking Luggage here (got that bit sorted!)
I need a new shoulder Bag !


Must haves:
A long strap to go right across the body.
Big enough to hold my SLR Camera and my Documents.
However definitely a day bag( not too big)
Must be a reasonable price.

So Last week I paid a little trip Eastpak Icon Store, No.1 Carnaby Street London.

They did not disappoint !!!

I found the perfect bag, the Delegate MM Pink! What a dream, loads of room inside, extra compartments, great design and colours, plus a 30 year warranty !

Unfortunately the only problem for me is the cost! Its way above my budget!

At £55.00 should I stretch that far or go for a cheaper option ?

So im asking all you girls and guys out there who already own an Eastpak item for your views!

Ten top tips to dress for a first date.

Girls, we all know that feeling when you can't decide what to wear, especially when it's a First Date. Well do not fret, just follow these steps to feel fabulous on that date.

1. Be yourself - wear something that you would wear. Don't try and impress him with a look that just isn't you. You'll feel uncomfortable and awkward and that really won't help.

2. Make sure your outfit means that you can keep your dignity. Sit down in your outfit before you go out so you know you won't be exposing any part of your body accidentally!

3. Choose one part of your body that you are going to have on show. If your going to have your pins out then put your boobs away. Don't show the guy everything you've got in one go.

4. Dress accordingly for the date, venue and of course the weather. Even if you look super fit, the guy really wont appreciate having to get soaking because a coat just didn't go with your outfit!

5. If you are going to wear heels. You better be able to walk in them and make them last the whole night, hobbling in pain down the street is so not sexy.

6. Make sure you dress your age! If you're not 18 don't dress like you  are, likewise if you're 18 don't dress like you are 50!

7. Make sure your make is fresh and dewy rather than big smokey eyes. At least for the first couple of dates.

8.Underwear is so important and helps structure your entire outfit. Get a good bra and if your outfit is fitted invest in some hold in knickers. They do wonders - of course there is no reason for him to see these..... ever!

9. Make sure your handbag is big enough to fit everything you need in it. Let's not try to squeeze everything into a tiny clutch. There's nothing worse than taking something out and not being able to fit it back in. However don't turn up with something that looks like an overnight holdall.

10. Don't complicate your outfit with too much jewellery! Keep it simple.
